Medium Roast: this will be from the Indonesian Island of Flores located to the East of Bali. The coffee is very low in acid and clean on the palette. The coffee trees were originally brought there by the Portuguese Over time the villagers have grafted stock from Java to produce a hybrid Arabica. The Flores Arabica shares both body and cupping characteristics from Java and East Timor. It is 100% organic.
Dark roast: This is Java Estate which comes from an estate near Semerang in central Java. The estate is privately owned and the quality program employed results in the cleanest bean Merdeka have ever seen. Perfection pre-roast often does not translate into the perfect cup, but in this case the results are indeed excellent.
The Chesterfield Market will hold it's last outdoor market on Friday 25th November. However the Market will continue at an indoor site in the the Chesterfield Towne Center Mall. The location is opposite the Coldwater Creek store and will open on Thursday 1st December. The Market will then continue every Thurs/Fri/Sat year round.The opening hours are 10 am to 6 pm.
The soccer scene has been relatively quiet the past two weeks as all league programs were closed due to most countries being involved in International friendly matches. This coming Saturday business resumes as normal with some interesting matches in the schedule. More next week.
